Acacia floribunda  – Gossamer Wattle – native shrub (small tree) 

Lovely native wattle. Tall dense shrub (or small tree) with feathery fine foliage; abundant pale cream flowers in spring. ‘floribunda’ means,  abundant dense flowers.  Fast-growing if well-watered.

USE Can be used as a hedge, or for erosion control when planted alongside waterways, as well as decorative small tree. 

Dimensions: Height: 6 metres |  Width: 2m – can be pruned as a shrub
 Flowering: Pale cream flowers in spring.
Aspect: Grow in full sun or part shade. Frost hardy.
Soil type: Can be planted in most  soils.
 Maintenance: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune after flowering and apply a slow release native fertiliser to promote healthy leaf and prolific blooms during the next flowering season.
