Backhousia myrtifolia – Grey Myrtle or Cinnamon Myrtle – tree, native
Backhousia myrtifolia is a small native rainforest tree. Its ovate cinnamon scented leaves start out light and bright green when young, but darken with age. Delicates white/cream flowers emerge in Spring & early summer.
Uses: it makes an ideal feature tree for a small garden and can be grown in a large container if kept pruned.

MAINTENANCE
Maintenance: mulch and water well upon planting. Continue to water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Drought tolerant. Prune after flowering to maintain shape and promote dense growth.
