Callistemon viminalis ‘Captain Cook’  – colourful native dwarf shrub with reddish new foliage and bearing a profusion of bright red flowers in Spring and Autumn.

Uses: ideal as a specimen shrub and for mixed shrub beds. Flowers attract nectar-feeding birds.

Flowering: large red bottlebrush shaped flowers, Spring and Autumn
Aspect: full sun / part shade
Soil type: prefers well drained soil.

Maintenance: low maintenance; prune after flowering to maintain shape if required
