Callistemon viminalis ‘Wildfire’ – Bottlebrush –  native shrub.

This hardy, weeping native bottlebrush produces long, green leaves with soft, pale green new growt; dense clusters of bright red flowers in spring, with spot flowering at other times.

Uses: ideal screening, windbreaks, erosion control or hedge plant. Flowers attract nectar-feeding birds and insects.

 

Dimensions: H up to 4m | W 2m

Flowering: large red bottlebrush shaped flowers in Spring, and spot flowering throughout year.

Aspect:full sun / part shade

Soil type: prefers moist well drained soil, Thrives in coastal conditions.

Maintenance: prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape if required.
