crinum pedunculatum also known as the swamp lily, river lily or mangrove lily, is a wonderful and hardy bulbous perennial found in stream and tidal areas.
This is a useful plant for a wide range of challenging positions. It will grow in poorly drained soils, including clay types, will flower in shaded spots as well as sun, grow under trees. The flowers also have a nice scent.
Uses: Feature plant, fragrant, fast growing, playground friendly.
