Dietes grandiflora – Wild Iris
Also referred to as Wild Iris or Fortnight Lily, this fast-growing clumping plant has large, white iris-like flowers with a mauve centre and distinctive yellow spots on each petal. Will happily grow in both gardens and pots but looks most striking when planted en masse. Almost indestructible, this is a top plant-and-forget pick. Large grass with green, upright to arching foliage.
Uses: Mass plantings, feature in garden, attract bees, landscaping.

Maintenance: Water regularly until established then water during dry spells. If needed, fertilise with a slow release fertiliser in Spring. Do not remove flower stems as they continue to flower for several years. They can be divided when clumps get large enough every 4 to 5 years.
