Tall native bushy shrub with flaky, thin layered bark and white flowers that attract native bees.
Small birds shelter and hunt among the foliage. Can be pruned as a hedge or screen. Hardy, tolerates drought and exposed windy sites.
Stems are hairy and the leaves are aromatic when rubbed.
