Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘PAV300’ – PENNSTRIPE™
The first variegated Australian native grass available. PENNSTRIPE was bred from Pennisetum ‘Nafray’ and is equally tough compared to common varieties. The variegated fine foliage will provide a highlight feature, a perfect contrast to other green plants. Clumping, variegated grassy foliage that gives a golden glow.
Uses: Pennstripe is great for golf courses, public gardens and domestic applications. Good for mass planting, accent planting for rockeries, borders etc. Plumes are suitable for dried arrangements.

Maintenance: Trim annually in spring (when all frosts have finished) to 200–300mm above the ground. Fertilize with controlled release fertilizer after trimming to encourage fresh re-growth.
