Viola hederacea – Native Violet

Australian native perennial groundcover with tight rounded to kidney shaped leaves. Grows is a sprawling manner making an excellent dense ground cover with decorative mauve, purple and white flowers.

Suitable for rockeries, cascading over walls or filling between pavers. Native Violets are great for shady area of the garden and make a great lawn alternative in shade spots.

Flowering:  May see flowers year round  in white, purple & mauve but most prominent in spring
